Venue Specific Details
At TVSC, we are evolving plans and gradually opening up facilities at the Club, currently they are limited, the pitch is the main area of access, via a one-way sytem. All visitors should observe social distancing when able, please run through the following details in order to help observe these plans.
No Pitch side access is granted for spectators, be sure you follow Government guidelines, when watching from outside the cage.
Pitch Access Plan
Changing Rooms and Toilets.
Currently there are no changing rooms or showers available, however there are toilet facilities on site.
There is only access to each of these, one at a time and if a queue should develop, please do so from outside and observe social distancing.
Bar and Refreshments.
Please refer to the current guidance posted outside of the clubhouse, for further information. The club house is open with limited hours and services.
Dugouts & Pitchside.
Please remember that you MUST follow social distancing rules during warm up, during cool down, during pre-match huddles and during half time team talks. Subs cannot all sit together in dug outs, they need to follow social distancing rules.
Dugouts will be open but Social Distancing must be observed (max 2 players or to be used by visiting umpires).
Q: How does the new Government rule of 6 impact hockey off the pitch?
A: Off the pitch participants must remain in socially distanced (2m) groups of no more than 6 people. Each group must be clearly separate from another and not mix. This includes whilst waiting to access the pitch, after you have finished your session/match and left the pitch or in the clubhouse pre or post the session/match.
Spectators need to register, upon arrival - by scanning the QR code placed around the facilities .
In addition to the advice above, please note:
- Ensure that all participants (players. coaches, managers, physio etc.) have completed a Participation Agreement
- Forward your attendance register to your club Covid Officer for forwarding to EH Track and Trace.
- Ensure your participants have performed a self-screen health assessment before leaving home.
- The bar may be open for drinks but we are unable to provide post-match teas at present. Please follow the clubhouse rules.
