Welcome back to another Hockey season with Taunton Vale Juniors, we are pleased to be able to share the information below to get us started for the season. We will continue to use Teamo this year for all communication, fixture and training details. Please ensure you have the app downloaded, have allowed notifications (to get instant updates) and your child/your details are up to date. Training dates/details below for each age group as well as some handy reminders.
Training day and times have remained the same, delighted we are able to offer U16 Boys Hockey again this year following a year without a representative team for this age group. For session locations please continue to check Teamo. The girls U14-18 will rotate between Taunton Vale and Taunton School, similar to last season and there is the potential the Boys U14/16 sides will do the same, this is dependent on numbers attending the session.
Training will start w/c 11th September 2023 for all age groups and will finish for Christmas break w/c 11th December 2023 (with a break for October half term w/c 24th October). Training will then restart w/c 8th January 2024 and finish for the season w/c 25th March 2024 (with a break for February half term w/c 12th February)
See below Coach and Parent Team Manager details for each age group this season. Alongside the named coaches we will have additional support coaches on pitch to step in and assist. If you feel you can offer some on pitch support for the coaches please come forward, we’d love to have you!!

Parking Reminder
Remember to pay for your parking at Taunton Vale each time you attend training and matches, the charge is still £2.00 for the duration of your stay, however there is still a 20 minute window where you do not need to pay if you are only dropping off and picking up. If you paid for a yearly pass, this can now be renewed, please email Steve Archer (sports club manager), bookings@tauntonvale.com who can sort this for you, the yearly charge is £20. Emails will generally only be checked Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.
